UP MOW CA-4 CABOOSE 903224 SILVER

  • Beginning in the 1970, some Ca-3 and Ca-4 cabooses were retired from regular service and permanently assigned to non-revenue maintenance- of-way service. Their services might include derrick or crane duties, welded rail operations, or used as office cars. The need for non-revenue cabooses continued even after 1984 when their use on the mainline was no longer needed. Paint schemes varied from yellow to aluminum and light green.
