  • The Milk Car is one of the most popular and durable toys of all time. Touch a button and the man unloads a milk can onto the platform; pretend it is delivering hot chocolate for the children on the polar express
  • The Candy Cane Car and the Loading Station operate together to offer a magical continuous system of unloading and re-loading candy canes for shipment from the North Pole to children throughout the world
  • The car unloads the canes onto the loading station at the touch of a button
  • Pushing a 2nd lever on the control panel moves them up the conveyer loading system to the top, where they are stored
  • Pushing another lever will reload them onto the operating car on the other side of the loading station
  • The Loading Station is a Classic Lionel Accessory first made in 1947
  • Human hands are not needed for anything except pressing the control levers on the operating console, but don't worry when the kids (and adults) interject lots of changes into the scenaro and play with this accessory for hours even if the rest of the train is put away
  • The 2 lighted station platforms will fit along the tracks along with the station building, making a neat 2 platform station or you can have 2 seperate stations at different locations
  • The 5 village buildings include Santa's workshop and the North Pole airport hanger as well as the NorthPole Station
  • The electric switch (with a non-derailing feature) changes the direction of the train by remote control
  • The track included creates a siding over 50 inches long, and loop originaly included in the set is increased by 20 inches in length
  • The 6-12054 operating track operates the milk car and candy cane unloading cars. (It will also uncouple and operate any and all other operating cars ever made, or which you may choose to purchase in the future as well)
  • An additional uncoupling track (6-12020) is provided uncoupling cars in the siding
  • Adults will play with everything for hours, so be sure to have the adults get permission from the children to use the trains!!!
  • As an added bonus, the log loader can also be operated with the Lionel TMCCHand Held Controller.   • We hope you enjoy the artists illustations from the 50's which we used to describe how the operating track, couplers and operating cars work but please note that the extra log car and milk car are NOT included. You do get the Lionel Lines Milk Car with blue roof and the all metal red and green candy cane unloading car, both made to the same high quality as they were in the early 50's
