| The largest of the USRA standard designs, the 2-8 -8-2 took heavily from the N&W Y2 class. The N&W was the largest user of the type from the USRA a nd continued to develop the Y's further after the war. These locomotives continued to perform well for all of their owner's right up till the end of steam. For the first time, the 2-8-8-2 will c ome with Bluetooth control, "simpling" chuff sounds (mimicking the use of the simpling valve on t hese locomotives, they will start with 8 chuffs per wheel revolution and transition to 4) and Whistle Steam as well as appropriate tender styles a nd other road-specific details including smokebox air pumps and number boards as appropriate.
