AFC's Centerflow design revolutionized covered hopper production in the 1960's. These large capacity cars were generally used in pastics or grain service and could be seen in freight trains nationwide from the 1970's to the early 2000's. Painted, decorated and assembled in Lionel's North Carolina facility from parts made in the USA and imported.
