TEXAS & PACIFIC M-1 4-8-2 LOCO/TENDER (RARITY 4)

  • Built 1992. Full Scale Mountain 4-8-2 Loco with all piping and detail. Totally scale and magnificant
  • This version was made exclusively for Sears. It has a shorter tender than the 1991 NYC Mohawk, matching the size used by the Texas and Pacific RR
  • NYC called their 4-8-2's 'Mohawks', while the rest of the railroads generally called them 'Mountains'
  • This T & P was uncatalogued and came with a plastic display case
  • The great "debate"....which is nicer, the 4-8-2 Mountain or the 4-6-4 Hudson? The 4-8-2's are larger and was the 3rd full scale loco ever produced by Lionel...introduced in 1991 as the NYC Mohawk
  • There were never many of these locos available, hence the (rarity 4) rating. So don't miss out if you couldn't get one.
