Uncataloged Lionel Toy Fair edition O Scale boxcar f rom the 1987 Toy Fair Show in New York City. Commemorating the 100th birthday of Joshua L. Cowen, and the Fundimensions division of MPC. This c ar was only available to dealers who visited Lionel's showroom in the Toy fair building on 23rd s treet and 5th ave. Lionel would also send bigger d ealers one car. Every year the car would change. F eatures; plastic molded body, painted red, white, and blue, plastic trucks with operating couplers, and official 1987 Lionel logo's. This is a n extremely hard car to find. Production in the 1970-80's was in the low hundreds, and most dealers keep their cars. Also the first year to have a box with printed item end flap on the box. Features; red plastic body, silver roof and ends, red door, silver lettering, new red, white and blue LIONEL logo at right of door. Symington Wayne t rucks. Books for $75.
