ALASKA 0-6-0 DOCKSIDE SWITCHER

 

  • Built in 2007, this Alaska Railroad 0-6-0 Dockside switcher has an all-die cast body and frame with yellow lettering
  • This engine was never catalogued for separate sale - it was only available as part of the 6-30047 Alaska Steam Work Train Set
  • It's one of the few steam engines with operating couplers front and rear, enabling is haul cars from the front as well as the rear , and be in the middle of the train too to perform any conceivable switching function
  • It's many other features include three position E-Unit, electronic steam whistle, directional headlights, maintenance free motor with momentum flywheel, traction tires, puffing smoke unit, and engineer and fireman figures
  • Engine requires O27 or wider radius curves, and will work nicely on any O-27, O gauge or Fastrack layout
  • Engine measures 8.5" in length.
