| This was the first GP-9 dummy units produced by Lionel. I.C. GP-9 dummy was produced by Lionel in 1972. Was a match for I.C. powered GP-9 from 1970 (6-8030). Features; die-cast trucks and wheels, sheet-metal frame, metal hand rails, plastic molded body with authenic I.C. paint scheme. Came in new MPC window display box. This is one of the tougher MPC dummy units to find. The powered unit was one of the most popular MPC units, but the dummy sold poorly? |
