| 1973 marked the return of the Lionel F-3 diesel product line. The Canadian Pacific F3 AA's were only available in the uncataloged 1973 service station 5 car freight set #6-1350. Less than 2500 sets were made. FEATURES: single "Pullmor" motor * operating headlights * transformer controlled F/N/R * die-cast F-3 trucks * metal wheels/axles * self-centering couplers between units * metal ornamental roof diesel horns * clear window glass * authentic Canadian Pacific paint scheme and nose logo * The dummy A unit has: headlights, front operating coupler, rear self-centering coupler, die-cast trucks. An uncataloged B unit was made in 1974 to make up a great looking CP lashup (6- 8469). |
