ERIE LACKAWANNA POWERED GP-9

 

This was a first for Lionel in 1977. An engine featuring the EL roadname. Has become one of the most desirable engines from the MPC era. Companion dummy EL GP-9 was made the same year(6-8760). Features:

  • Operating couplers
  • Transformer controlled Forward, Neutral, Reverse
  • Illuminated number plates
  • Pullmor motor
  • Traction tires
  • Die-cast trucks and wheels
  • Over 14" in length and accurate EL paint scheme
  • Built in 1977-79.
