| This car has been run just a bit and is like new (C8) and does not have a boxBuilt by Lionel in 1977 and part of the 3-car Servive Station Set 6-1766. FEATURES: Uncatalogued, gray plastic body painted silver with blue lettering, metal frame, plastic battery box hangs from frame, rubber tires on the two wheels with gears, Type I power trucks with plastic two-step assembly (plastic assembly formerly appeared on the Lionel 44-ton dummy truck), three-position E-unit with lever on bottom, two operating couplers. This is a reissue of the Lionel 1950s version with the following differencesa plastic trim horn replaces a metal trim hornrubber tire traction replaces Magnetractionglossy silver paint replaces the original flat silver-gray paintbattery powered horn was eliminated. |
