Dark blue upper boiler, ligher blue lower boiler, gold outlined steam chest '8801' in gold on cab, decal on loco feedwater tank reads 'The Blue Comet'Lionel on small plate beneath headlight drivers outlined in white. The Blue Comet brings back memories of the top of the line classic Standard and O Gauge Locos of the 30's. and has met with great popularity, recalling the prominence of the real Blue Comet, which ran from Jersey City to Atlantic City in the 1930's. This set includes 5 Passenger Cars.
