| A reissue of the 2245 NH F-3 from 1958 with slightly brighter silver/white/black/orange paint scheme. In 1958, the New Haven F-3 was offered in an A-B configuration and was called "the checkerboard". This model improved on it's 2245 predecessor by having dual Pullmor motors. It was also the first MPC F-3 engine with twin motors. FEATURES: powered unit #8851 & dummy unit #8852, plastic molded body, transformer controlled F/N/R, die-cast trucks, 8-wheel drive, tire traction, die cast chassis, operating front couplers on both pilot ends, operating headlights, and authentic classic NH paint scheme. This F-3 set is one of the MPC's best running diesels during that time. |
