| Built 1979. FM's are Lionel's most powerful lococmotives. This one is no exception. They are heavy powerful haulers and will give any GG-1 a run for "the money". FEATURES: Dual motored Fairbanks-Morse Trainmaster w/8-wheel power drive * black body/silver-white lettering/orange stripe * operating headlights at both ends * stamped metal frame * all metal railings * die-cast six wheel FM trucks * dual "Type-I" Pullmor motors * track gripping Magne-Tracion * 3 position reverse unit * operating dual couplers * ornamental horns * Rerun of the prototype Trainmaster shown at the 1954 toy fair with a different number...AKA "The Black Widow". It has never before been produced by LIONEL until this limited edition offering in 1979. This is one of the most attractively painted FM's produced of all Lionel's FM fleet. |
