| TCA exclusive Red White and Blue Bicentenial Set issued in 1976. Set includes #1976 Spirit of 76 Lionel Diesel loco lettered Seaboard Coast Line, # 1973 'Freedom Bell' Observation, # 1974 'Stars and Strips' Pullman, and # 1975 'American Eagle' Pullman. These cars were the made from the original 'shortie' Lionel Passenger cars(such as Newark, Clifton , Chatham etc. and were the first p assenger cars made by MPC with metal trucks. Loco has magnetraction and overall this was a beautiful set. Needless to say it was quite limited, never having been offered to the general public. |
