ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT

 

Built from 1946 until 1950. Never offered for separate sale, but included with all Electronic Control train sets. Contained a vacuum tube and electronic circuitry that generated a different frequency signal for each of the 10 buttons. Miniature receivers in each special car of these sets could be tuned to respond to one of these frequencies.
