GENERAL MOTORS DEMONSTRATOR MP-15 DIESEL ENGINE

 

The MP-15 was introduced by General Motors Electro-Motive Division in 1974. It was developed to handle the switching and road service needs of any line. The demonstrator model was given the bright blue and white paint scheme so GM could show the new locomotive off to potential railroad customers. Features; Operating horn * Dual motors * Operating headlight, cablight * Quadra-grip wheels * 8-wheel drive * Die-cast trucks * Metal chassis and handrails * Operating die-cast couplers * 3 position reversing unit.
