MARX TWIN SEARCHLIGHT TOWER 1952

 

One of the rarer Marx accessories to find intact. Plastic constructed frame is usually broken. Great piece for the layout, that looked and worked better than Lionel's #395 floodlight tower. Introduced by Marx in 1952, this classic searchlight tower was cataloged thru the 50's. Two powerful searchlights which may be turned or tilted are mounted on a platform on top of plastic girder-type tower. Metal ladder on rear.
