MARX / WYANDOTE TOYS USA MADE TIN LITHOGRAPHED AMERICAN AIRLINES INC. CITY AIRPORT O GAUGE

This little Wyandote airport dates to the 1930's. It features a tin litho building with a double light tower. There are "runways" on the base with headlights over each one. The central compass shows which way your planes would be headed - there are also two "runways" on the first level either side of the tower. The tower features two lights to have your planes land safely. The litho features a pair of hangers for American Airlines, Inc. (one for NY/LA Sleeper Planes, the other for NY/Chicago Non-Stops). The building itsef "houses" a ticket office, repair shop, radio station, waiting room, restaurant, drug store, and newsstand. Looks fantastic on the layout! Measures approx. 16 inches x 11 and a half inches x 9 inches.
