LIONEL PRE WAR 191 CREAM/RED/GRAY METAL VILLA

Made in this variation from 1923 to 1932. Uncatalogued and available on scenic plots through 1942. Steel construction, two story plus attic design with added wing (called a 'sun porch' or 'train room' by many collectors). Enameled base, walls, hip roof with chimney and with or without two large dormers. Separate window and door inserts. Open porch area with flat roof surrounded by decorative railing. Some with decal or rubber-stamped 'NO. 191 VILLA/MADE BY/THE LIONEL CORPORATION/NEW YORK' in black on underside.
