Lionel pre-292 set
292 SET - FEATURES 248 ENGINE WITH 629 & 630 PASSENGER CARS
Built from 1927 to 1932. Early versions came in orange, and a rare green (1927-28), all with brass plates. From 1929 to 1932 they featured a painted red body with nickel journals. This was a popular low-priced set O gauge set. The engine had minimal brass hardware and headlight, and painted trim & number plates with rubber-stamped letters. All cars have latch couplers. Came with a 629 Pullman and 630 Observation cars. |
