Lionel pre-436

LIONEL PREWAR POWER STATION

Built 1926-37. Black lettered "Power Station" sign over the doors. Rubber stamped on the bottom is, "NO 436 POWER STATION MADE BY THE LIONEL CORPORATION NEW YORK." Fits over a type C, K, or T Transformer. There are four noted variations, all involving the color of the walls and roof. The rarest version, a rarity 5 in the TM guide, has terra cotta walls with a mustard colored roof. However, instead of saying "Power Station" over the doors, the plaque reads, "Edison Service."
