LIONEL 61 STANDARD GAUGE LAMP POST
Produced by Lionel for their standard gauge trains from 1914 to 1932 and again from 1934 to 1936. Cast iron base, some rubber-stamped "LIONEL #61" on underside of base, rolled-metal post, lamp reflector shade suspended from fancy, semi- circular ("gooseneck") filigreed steel bracket, and with a pear-shaped frosted bulb. 12 and three quarters of an inch high. This was the largest single lamp post Lionel made. Came in assorted colors. |
