229A MINNEAPOLIS & ST. LOUIS DIESEL LOCO

 

This red diesel was first available in 1961 as a single A unit. The painted body was decorated with a white stripe on the side and white heat-stamped lettering that included the M&St.L's circular "The Peoria Gateway" logo.
