LIONEL 314 PLATE GRIDER BRIDGE
Single span girder bridge. Diecast sides and stamped steel base. Built from 1940 until 1942, and again from 1945 until 1950. Rubber-stamped "Lionel", painted gray. Early 1945/1946 version has flat gray paint with "SF" printed on the box, while the 1947/1950 version had a slightly darker gray with a hint of gloss and no "SF" on the box. Some silver painted Pre-War versions carried over into 1945 and 1946. Box came with two cardboard inserts. |
