|Built 1955-57. The operator manually inserts ice blocks into an inclined loading chute at the top of the structure. Pushing the button on the controller causes a metal plate to extend from the p latform, opening the top hatch of a ice car positioned alongside the accessory. Almost simultaneously, the iceman uses his paddle to sweep ice blocks on by one into the car's open hatch.
