LIONEL LINES SP TYPE CABOOSE

| With an 11-year production run spanning 1951-62, this SP-type caboose has more variations than any other. It was made in many different colors, all using heat stamping for the letters. From 1951-57, the body was unpainted plastic attached to the frame with screws. Bar end trucks were usedthrough 1956. Starting in 1957, tabs bent over the end of the body were used to secure it to the frame. From 1958 onward, the bodies were painted in a variety of different colors. None were ever illuminated |
