STATE OF MAINE BOXCAR WITH RED DOORS
|The State of Maine 6464 boxcar was produced in 1955, then again from 1957 through 1959. The 6464-275 has the most door variations of any car in the series, the one thing that is consistent is that all are Mutliblock doors. This version has the solid red door. Most came on a Type 2A body mold (Lionel made several minor changes to the body mold of its boxcars over the years. The variations center mostly around the rivet patterns on the sides).
