6464-900 NEW YORK CENTRAL BOX CAR TYPE 4 1960 - 1966 WITH UNDOCUMENTED BODY MOLD

 

Produced from 1960 until 1966. The last of the cataloged Post-War 6464's. Numerous color variations of the jade green painted body have surfaced, with no significant difference in price. Usually found in light jade green or dark jade green. Features type 4 body mold, heat-stamped letters, jade green painted multiblock doors, and AAR trucks. Box type: orange picture box, inner flap numbered 6464-930, with type face on the end flaps changed over the years.
