6465 LIONEL LINES BLACK TANK CAR

 

The 1959 production of the 6465 Lionel Lines two dome tank car has two variations but both have an unpainted black body with white rubber-stamped lettering, including the markings "BUILT 1-58 / BY LIONEL". Each of the two AAR trucks had operating couplers. The two variations center around the logo - on one, the log is the rubber-stamped Lionel "L", on the other is the "Gulf" decal.
