THE FAMOUS SANTA FE F-3 WARBONNET SET

 

  • The Warbonnet Red and Silver Santa Fe F-3 is the classic Lionel Locomotive of all time - made famous in 1948 and every Christmas since then
  • This set includes a new Lionel ZW transformer which is the best and largest transformer Lionel has produced--360 watts (expandable to 720 watts) and capable of running up to 4 conventional trains at one time with the 4 throttles on the transformer, and powering even more using the command system with hand held control.
  • The F-3 has two motors, full command (TMCC), headlight, die-cast trucks and base
  • The cars in this deluxe set have metal trucks and include an Alaska Coal Unloading Car, a Santa Fe Boxcar, a Southern Railway Tank Car, a Mint car with gold bullion visible in the window, a Flat Car carrying a Van and a lighted Santa Fe Red Caboose
  • All cars have operating couplers
  • Track is the heavy O gauge, with 19 straights, 12 wide radius 042 curves and an operating/ uncoupling track
  • The sets biggest feature is that it also includes the Lionel wireless remote control system, which can run as many as 10 trains at once without any more equipment except for additional transformers (with the number depending on the trains, and number of lights)
