Your e-mail address is very important!
Our automated auction system keys everything to your e-mail address. If your e-mail address is incorrect, you will not receive your bidder id and you will not be able to participate. If you enter multiple e-mail addresses or other "comments" your id will have to be removed, since the system will not be able to send it to you anyway. The system sends e-mails when you have been outbid and notifies you if you have won. In addition, The Train Station sends important e-mail updates and Lionel information through this list.
A few tips so that you "won't miss out!"
If you are not sure of your email address you can e-mail us at the train station auction just by clicking this link. We will reply to your message and you can use the address shown in the header for your auction ID address. If the reply doesn't work then it's possible that you are not configured properly and you should contact your provider.
Remember that for both your User ID and the password you entered, case is important, if you entered your password in capital letters that is the way it was saved. In addition aol screen names seem to be case sensitive so, be aware of that when entering your e-mail address.
A couple of more tips:
1. AOL users, your e-mail address is your screen name @aol.com, the ".com" is very important.
2. Compuserve users, if you do not have a "friendly" name and want to use your Compuserve ID number, you must replace the comma with a period. That's not our requirement, it's a Compuserve mail requirement. Your address would be something like, 11111.1111@compuserve.com.
Finally, if your address changes please let us know, we now have the ability to edit your e-mail address in our automated auction system, we will make the modification and you will be back on board.
Basic Auction Rules
Our Train Station Auctions typically run 7 to 21 days from from the first listing of a "new item up for bids". At the end of the auction an automated e-mail message will be sent to the winning bidder. The Train Station will use the Credit Card and the shipping address you registered with. If there is a problem and the winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours, or if the Credit Card provided for payment is invalid the item can pass to the next highest bidder. Actual Shipping Costs (UPS Ground) will be added to the Winning Bid.
Bidding
All bidding should be done in round dollar bid increments. Our new system will allow cents entries but they should be avoided.
To place a bid, supply your user ID and password along with your bid and, if you wish, the maximum you are willing to spend to acquire the piece. You will receive immediate feedback on the submission of your bid.
At any time you can view the item, and the current high bid amount. You can now truly bid "Day or Night".
If a bidder is outbid for an item they will receive an e-mail informing them of the new bid amount, If we have your current correct e-mail address.

All decisions of the Train Station Are Final. The Train Station is not responsible for E-Mail submission failures or problems with the e-mail auction software.. The Train Station will resolve any bidding disputes in a fair and equitable manner.
