LIONEL EXPLODING CARGO BOXCAR (1996)
| Produced by Lionel in 1996. This was a complete replica of the postwar 6470 from 1959-63. Lionel exploding boxcar is great for the operator with any Lionel missile firing rolling stock. Equipped with plastic molded sides and roof(held together with metal pin), die-cast sprung trucks, operating couplers, and detailed body and capacity lettering. Car will explode when hit with Lionel missile!!! This was one of the few pieces of Lionel rolling stock to come with an adult supervision sticker. Will always be desirable, because they make so many different missile cars. |
