| Condition is mint in the box. Produced by Lionel in 1999, as part of their Postwar Celebration series. A remake of the iconic 1954 Lackawanna 2321 maroon top FM. Featuring the classic gray & maroon paint scheme. All of the Lionel PWC piece's have become very desirable within the Lionel train community. Lionel's most powerful locomotive in Lackawanna Maroon, Grey and yellow Magnetraction and two large classic pullmore motors are the top of the line equipment Modern full command control technology has been blended with the 1954 hand made loco designs for some of the best reliability and performance ever achieved This loco has everything - horn, railsounds, bell, tower com, crewtalk, and die cast trucks. Electorcouplers on both ends uncouple anywhere on your railroad and make this loco one of the most versatile ever It was the most powerful loco on real railroads when introduced by Fairbanks Morse, and the Lackawanna was the first railroad to buy them They were used in high speed passenger service, commuter service and heavy duty freight Originally produced by Lionel in 1954, this is a 2000 reissue in Lionel's Archive series.
