LIONEL TRAIN STATION 25TH ANNIVERSARY BOX CAR (1974 TO 1999) - A LIONEL FIRST! (UNCATALOGED)
| To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we had Lionel make us an official box car. The car is the first special car Lionel ever made for a Lionel dealer (and the only one made in the USA); other than major stores like Macy's. Produced exclusively for the Train Station, we're very proud of the car and thank all the friends we have met over the years who have bought trains from us! This is a bit of history from Lionel and The Train Station. There were only 500 produced (compared to many tens of thousands of regular run box cars), and the car may very well prove to be an interesting collectable.
