Lionel TMCC and Legacy locomotives offer advanced command control, reslistic operation, and premium sound and motion features for O-guage layouts.
TMCC (TrainMaster Command Control) diesels allow independent control of multiple locomotives on the same track (talking to each engine separately), with remote control of speed, direction, horn, bell and lighting (as equipped).These engines deliver smooth operation and are fully compatible with Lionel command control layouts.
LEGACY diesels build on TMCC with enhanced performance and realism, including finer speed control, improved motor response, expanded sound features, and a more nuanced throttle and horn operation. When used with a LEGACY control system these locomotives provide the most realistic diesel operation Lionel offers.
