LIONEL JUNIOR POLAR 0-27 EXPRESS PASSENGER SET

| Recently pUrchased in a collection. Interesting custom set from the early 2000's. An in house basement creation of the Polar Express set. It could be a lot of fun for a little guy, and cheaper than the new version. It has a bell too. This guy was thinking, it includes fastrack and 80 watt transformer! The builder used an smaller PRR type engine and 0-27 passenger cars. The set appears new, and never run by the builder. He called it the Polar Junior Set, made wit hw ith a Lionel Steam Engine and three Polar Express Passenger cars! Decorated cars and loco are somewhat smaller than the regular set, and the cars are a newer, more modern, streamlined style. The loco puffs smoke and whistles as it makes its journey towards the North Pole. Your children's imagination will recall all the characters from the movie as they peer into the windows of the rounded tear drop observation! Set is complete and ready to run with no assembly required. The 80 watt transformer has lots of extra power plus an extra connection for accessories and expansion. The 40 x 60 inch loop contains 8 fastrack curved, 3 straight, and 1 terminal track. A 'how to' instruction video is also included. The locomotive has Lionel's famous forward, neutral, and reverse system - controlled with the touch of a button. Passenger cars are illuminated, have operating couplers and include a rounded teardrop observation car. |
