The 474 (A) and 475 (dummy A) Silver Rocket AA PA diesels were produced from 1953 to 1955. They were finished in green, yellow, and silver with "ROCKET" printed an both sides. The powered unit was equipped with two motor trucks, each having two Pul-mor wheels. The dummy unit housed the whistle generator. Both units came with knuckle couplers and operating headlights. In 1953 the units were chrome plated instead of being painted silver. The silver painted version appeared in 1954 and was continued through to 1955. |
