Corgi Classics Limited is a famous diecast model manufacturer which has its origins in the Corgi Toys brand introduced by Mattoy in 1956 (and currently owned by Hornby). Known for it's British and North American vehicle models, the company has arguably become one of the best diecast makers on the market. Both they, Lesney (the original "Matchbox"!) and Dinky are collectable with large followings! Also look out for Renwal plastic cars, small plastic cars made in Japan, and European manufacturers like Wiking etc. as these are now becoming the collectables of the future.
