| Introduced in 1961, and one of the rarest Plasticville kits to be made. Mint, boxed versions can sell for over $100. The mobile home was embraced by America in the late 50's and early 60's, and would begin to appear in towns and the countryside all over. This kit sold extemely poorly. Not many Lionelville layouts had mobile trailer parks. It came in two color variations: 1)white sides with turquise windows, roof, canopy, and base. 2)turquise sides with white windows, roof, canopy, and base. Both versions are of equal value. This rare Plasticville item is usually broken or missing pieces (chimney, canopy etc.). Came in a two- piece art deco box. Total pieces = 9. |
