| It's Sunday. Go to church - any church. You'll feel better! Introduced 1953, this was the most common of the Plasticville churches. Complete kit had 12 pieces. Plastic white sides, light grey roof (or rarer dark gray roof), with paper stained glass windows and a red door (felt paper glued from the inside). A common structure with very fragile side tabs that are usually broken from impatience while either assembling or disassembling this structure. Box did change through the years (the most common one being the one piece lift box). A dark gray roof came out in the late 1950's/early 1960's. Nice piece for any Lionel layout. |
