| Just like Lionel, Plasticville began manufacturing HO gauge replicas of models they were already making in O gauge. This one, model HO-58, is almost exactly the same as the #1502 O gauge Cape Cod house. A complete kit consists of seven pieces - the four walls, two piece roof, and chimney. The same sized box was used, only a cardboard insert was used to keep the smaller parts from rattling around too much. The HO kits are rare because of their size and easily-lost parts - like the chimney. It was tough for kids to hold onto O gauge chimneys - now imagine one half that size! This is a really neat kit. |
