Neat variation that most people don't know exist. They would do it again in 1954. 1953 was a very good year because Magnetraction returned, as the Korean war began to ease. The 2046, 681, and 736 steamers were back while new issues included 2037, 2055, and 685. 1953 also saw the release of less detailed new F-3 AA unit's 2353(S.F.), 2354(NYC), and 2355(WP). New rolling stock included 6417 N5C caboose, 6511 pipe car, 6415 3-dome tankcar, 6468 DD boxcar, and 3484 operating PRR boxcar. Lastly this was the first year for the new 6464 boxcar series; -1 Western Pacific, -25 Great Northern, -50 MST.L, and -75 Rock Island.
