| This set of four aluminum passenger cars was cataloged in set 2234W (produced in 1954), headed by a 2353 Santa Fe AA locomotive. The passenger cars are brilliantly illuminated with the Lionel wireless connection system. Lionel did not illuminate the baggage car, making the men work in the dark for the entire trip! You rarely find a Post-War aluminum passenger car without a scratch from the factory where the aluminum extrusions were carried around in peach baskets without protection. |
