LIONEL 26 GRAY ILLUMINATED BUMPER (1948)
| Tough early version produced in 1948 only. This diecast end-of-track bumper replicated those found at many big-city passenger terminals. Lionel's bumper housed a spring-loaded aluminum shock absorber and a lamp shining through an RW- 27 red lens. Made for O and O-27 gauge track. Changed to the 260 in 1951 with a plastic shock |
