| Built from 1948 until 1955, a nine and a half inch long hopper with a painted body and white heat-stamped letters. Staple-end or bar-end trucks, and one brake wheel. These little hoppers were a Lionel mainstay. It seems that almost every set made in the early Post-War years came with one of these beauties! These cars are models of the coal cars from the old days and today's trains too - frequently found in solid trains of coal cars, as well as mixed in trains with other cars. They have been fully checked out by our service department to ensure years of fun for you and your family. |
