| This gem is the rare first version of the Lionel turbine with no E-unit lever protruding through the top of the boiler, and a double worm driveThe E-unit is controlled with jacks in the engineers cab!This is the O gauge version numbered "671" - most of these were numbered 2020 and sold with 0-27 track. Almost none were numbered 671!Also, many were modified wkth the original smoke bulb being replaced per a recommended factory upgrade by service stations - this one still has the original smoke bulb assembly and bulb which is workingTender is the cataloged Pennsylvania 2671W (rubber-stamped on metal base plate) with six wheel trucks and three holes in the rear for lights, and is unscratched and completeGraded Very Good (C6), you might think we were too harsh as must marks are not noticiable at arm's length, but there are a number of rough areas in the metal casting where the paint lustre changes and knicks here and there on the walkways, so we decided to grade it as Very Good (C6) instead of Excellent to be conservative`The 'rough areas may have been a factory defect shipped anywayLoco and tender operate perfectly and operation is guaranteed.
